Ashamed.

I am a genuinely pissed off individual right now. This is not by any means normal for me.Racism in North America and Europe against people of Middle-Eastern descent is at an all time high. While personally not being religious and technically born in the United States I feel it my duty to tell everyone who has anything against Arabs/Pakistanis/Palestinians or any other ethnic group to go FUCK themselves.I am ashamed of myself for not speaking up earlier.I am going to use my fight career to further this message of racial tolerance and open mindedness and anyone here who has a problem with my ethinicity or anyone else’s needs to leave this page.

While not the most eloquently written rant, I am not a normally angry or aggressive individual but the current socio-politcal climate of the world has made me into such.

Brown pride…lol…everyone, even the pale skinned ones.

I know Iraqi and Pakistani kids who say they’re from Dubai or some even say Mexico because they are scared. Everyone’s hyped up about Bin Laden’s death, everyone of Arab descent is not an extremist, not a terrorist and not a criminal. Open your fucking eyes.

I say once again ,I am TRULY ashamed of myself. I am going to be THAT guy. Next time I’m involved in a conversation and someone says something racist, a punch will be thrown regardless of consequences.

Also for those of you about to inbox me, please note , this did not stem from a particular incident, just seeing the plight of fellow brown kids in the West and the racist overtones of most mainstream media.

THIS BROWN DUDE is coming. Hah. :)

Ryan Oliva, Politics and my quest to make people hate me more…

So the blog post on racism is still to come but I feel like introducing someone who will be posting on here more often is a good idea before phantom politcally themed posts begin appearing .

While Thailand a met a fellow American ( yes yes, apparently in the Mid-West of the United States , American means WHITE but this is not the case in the real world ) , Ryan Oliva. An MMA and combat sports fan , we got to talking based on that common interest but soon found we shared politcal and philosophical views that strayed away from the common person.

I’m not saying Ryan is going to come in here and inform you of Obama’s secret identity as a Malaysian born reptillian extraterrestrial or that the Third World War is very real and close to happening. Just that he articulates opinions that we both share better than I do myself.

Yes people dislike that I am “Arab” in appearanceĀ and that I know how to spell properly and speak in complete sentences. Hopefully Ryan’s posts inculcate a deeper, more intense hatred of myself as well as Mr.Oliva.

Apparently they’re rebooting the Batman franchise after the next Dark Knight movie…sad.

No continuity,bullies and racism…

This blog has absolutely no scheduled updates but I feel that writing when I have something of significance to say is better than forcing nonsense about the daily grind of fighting and training ( even though I haven’t been due to the past few weeks because of injuries which are now finally starting to heal up. So yes. Two topics will be tackled today in my usual, vague and rather angsty manner.

((Bullies))

Bullies have made me into the person I am today. While I’m not one to share details with everyone, I’ve been verbally and physically bullied by kids, teens and more recently adults for pretty much as long as I can remember. Perhaps it is a personality defficiency that causes these people to prey on me or to put it simply I’m just a b*tch.

I don’t quite know how to stop these individuals and in some cases groups from acting the way they do but I do know that they have broken me. I am changed person and a changed fighter, I now feel like I fight not because its a sport but because if I don’t I will have more things said about me or more assaults made at my character and morals. So yes, at the end of the day the bullies got the last laugh…but they made me a different fighter, person and taught me not to trust people.

If there are any alpha-males/ gym heroes / jocks in the case of highschool or even fat kids for the younger ones reading this, don’t let them break you because there is no worse feeling than that in the world. If you are part of the group of people I mentioned above, you should be ashamed of yourself and realize that you are contributing to producing disturbed individuals like myself.

I think I’ll get to racism next time as I feel the need to go to bed. Once again, thank you for reading if you did in fact understand the point of what was written…if not , thank you anyway for politness’ sake. Ooooh, the “Thor” movie comes out soon!

Sacrifice ( Sack-ref-ice )

Yes, long gap between posts. Not really how a blog is designed to function but then again you can’t expect much better from me. Training is going well, am not fighting till April trying to improve some stuff and get stronger. Here’s a little rant from your favorite idiot.
Lately in the fight world I’ve been hearing people talk a lot of smack, gossip and flat out degrading other fighter’s and their skills. Sometimes these comments are factual and cannot be disputed but in most cases its just people who have nothing better to do knocking on the achievements of others.

I have an 11-5-0 record in Muay Thai and within my first four months of training MMA fought 4 times posting an unimpressive 1-3 record. Hopefully this year is better, but to me its not about the wins or the loses but rather about people not respecting or understanding the sacrifices I have made to fight. At 19 years old, I have a torn meniscus in each of my knees, 186 stitches worth of scar tissue , a lot less functioning brain cells and am away from my sister who I am closer to than anyone in the world.

I know other fighters way more experiences and well known than myself who still have sh*t talked about them behind their backs and on the internet. I’ve tagged them in this post as well as on Facebook so they know that I’m talking about them. It doesn’t matter if I’m friends with them or not or get along with them all of the time, I know they’ve made sacrifices for this sport that very few people can understand.

And yes, I know what is going through most peoples’ heads right now. The unecessary nature of this post and how its nothing more than me b*tching. I can’t really argue with you there.

UFC Fight For the Troops was great, unfortunately I missed it because I was grocery shopping. Yay. Hopefully another blog post soon.

Tron:Legacy…mind blown?

So since I haven’t been training since my fight ( 2 days haha ) I watched the sequel to Tron that is out in theaters right now. I’m going to keep this short because I start training tomorrow and need to go to bed. Tron was amazing. While the storyline was at most times impossible to understand , the grand scale and visual style of the movie made it worth watching. Oh and the soundtrack was “mind-imploding” for lack of a more suited term.

After seeing people turn sticks into light-cycles and pull discs off their backs and kill people ( err…computer programs rather ) I have to say Tron left me looking like this O_O.

Go watch it.

Why is this website so plain…and pink?

To be quite honest that is the question I’ve been asked most thus far and have a somewhat decent answer to it.

The website is plain because the idea of crazy designs, skeletons, chains, flames and photoshopped images making me look more intimidating and awesome is not one I’m particularly fond of.

The pink, well I think pink is an aesthetically pleasing colour, especially when used with white. If it is too feminine for any of my readers or makes you wonder the things I know it does, you’re a narrow-minded idiot who doesn’t need to be here anyway.

And now to conclude this oh so wonderful first blog post, I won my last fight. Not happy with my performance but got things done.
